Cross-Cultural Workshops for Relocation
Forefront Corporation offers cross-cultural workshops for individuals or groups and their families who are being relocated to the United States or abroad for work. Moving to a new country and adjusting to its culture produces many challenges in addition to possibly dealing with a new language. Our workshops help people prepare for these challenges and teach them effective ways to adjust to their new cultural environment. Forefront cross-cultural workshops are taught by trainers who have experienced the culture the client is moving to or from and understand how it differs from American culture. Our trainers all have spent time living in difference cultures and understand the difficulties that go along with it. Forefront cross-cultural workshops help people deal with a foreign workplace setting and teach them important culture-specific people management skills. The workshops also provide training on how to avoid and resolve conflicts in the new culture. In addition, the client will be taught how to handle communication in both professional and social settings. The workshop also addresses safety issues in the new country as well as many other topics. Cross-cultural workshops for team building and integration efforts on-site and for business travel purposes.
Very similar to above listed training philosophy, however, shorter and specifically designed to train global teams in the US, and US citizens doing business abroad.
Includes topics such as cross-cultural communication, conflict resolution, team building exercises and people management in multi-cultural departments or teams. In addition, special trainers are available for most world cultures to train US executives, managers and engineers to travel abroad and successfully conduct business negotiations abroad, first meetings, trade show participation and function in both business and social settings abroad.
